The unit is programmable to arm either automatically when the ignition is switched OFF or via the remote control
If the motorcycle is jostled or subjected to shocks, the alarm activates the siren and flashers for 30 seconds before re-setting
If the condidions persist, the alarm is again sounded for 30 seconds for up to 10 consecutive times
